Dear All,
The Oromo Community Organization (OCO) of Washington DC Metropolitan Area has planned to hold its annual General Assembly (GA) on Saturday May 25, 2013 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Oromo House.
The main purpose of the GA is to elect new OCO committee members who will serve our community organization during the 2013-2015 budget years. The GA will elect OCO committee members from among individual candidates who have already been identified by OCO’s nominating committee. OCO’s annual activity/performance reports will also be presented to the participants. Furthermore, the GA will discuss on and adopt some of the newly proposed articles of OCO’s Bylaw.
As you all are well aware, we have postponed two of OCO’s GA scheduled meetings because of the shortage in number of OCO members who are eligible to elect or being elected. This is, therefore, the third and last call that we would like to extend to our members based on the consensus made by OCO’s members who were present at OCO on May 4, 2013.
We would, therefore, kindly invite you all to attend this important meeting on the above indicated date, time and place.
With Very Kind Regards,
Oromo Community Organization (OCO)
